TAJ DYAMI

Taj Dyami, a Renaissance man from Connecticut, is an esteemed musician and artist. Taj was raised in a musical family who sang many different genres, which contributes to his international appeal. Although sports was his first love, he quickly realized that music was his true passion when at eight years old, he heard The Artist Formerly known as “Prince,” sing, “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” The Artists, as well as Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, and Lenny Kravitz influenced his musical sound.

Taj’s musical debut began when he formed and sang with a band that he created called, “Taylor Made.” The teenage group, consisting of three young men and one young lady was fashioned after groups, “New Edition” and “Debarge,” but with a mature “flavor.” After placing second place in a contest, the group scored a nice production deal with Kashif, who was famously known for producing Whitney Houston’s first hit, “You Give Good Love,“, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Johnny Kemp, Melba Moore, Dionne Warwick, Melissa Morgan, and Kenny G. Taj eventually became a solo artist and to date, has four singles under his belt, of which he is extremely proud!

A father of three, Taj enjoys spending time with his youngest child. Additionally, he says

that he “enjoys people watching, as it is free entertainment.” In his spare time, he enjoys watching Marvel movies and sci-fi series, such as Star Trek and Star Wars. He also enjoys studying world history, and politics, and participating in grassroots activism. Taj is also the Director of Integration Operations for a non-profit organization that he heads up with his sister.

Taj is producing, writes, and releasing music that can be downloaded from all digital music platforms. He gives special thanks to producers Robbie Jenkins, Chazz Oliver, and DJ Juan Coon.

  Taj Dyami is an independent artist. and will have two new singles releasing in May of 2023.
